Rana Daggubati’s Nene Raju Nene Mantri is one of the most anticipated films of the year, and it has every reason to be so.

The film stars Rana in the lead role, who already has had two big hits – The Ghazi Attack and Baahubali: the Conclusion – under his belt this year.

Nene Raju Nene Mantri is hitting the silver screens on Friday and even before its release, the film has fetched its makers a good amount of money.

Going by trade reports, the film has been made on a budget of Rs. 40 crore and it has collected Rs. 29 crore through the pre-release business.

According to sources, the Telugu Satellite & Digital Rights have been sold for Rs. 8 crore, while the Malayalam Theatrical, Digital & Satellite Rights fetched the filmmakers Rs. 3.5 crore. The Tamil Theatrical, Digital & Satellite Rights were sold for Rs. 6.5 crore and the Hindi Theatrical, Digital & Satellite Rights fetched Rs. 11 crore.

Produced by Rana Daggubati’s home banner Suresh Productions, the film’s distribution rights for the Andhra and Telangana regions have been retained by the production house.

Starring Rana Daggubati in the lead role, the film has Kajal Aggarwal, Catherine Tresa, Navdeep, Ashutosh Rana and Shivaji Raja in the star cast.

Anoop Rubens has scored the music for this political pot-boiler and Venkat C. Dileep has cranked the camera with Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao taking care of the editing. The film has been written and directed by Teja.

With Rana having two big hits to credit this year, hope is scores a hat trick with Nene Raju Nene Mantri.

Rana has been promoting the film on a big scale and that includes his appearance on the Big Boss Telugu show recently.
