Gautham Menon’s much anticipated film Dhruva Natchathiram is progressing at a rapid pace. Earlier this year, the director released a teaser of the film shot in New York City which created a positive buzz about the film.
Further, with Vikram hopping onboard this project, the expectations are even higher. The team moved over to Conoor where the first schedule was shot and then it was decided to fly down to Slovenia where the second schedule had been progressing for the past few weeks.
Updating about the progress, director Gautham Menon had tweeted that the schedule has been wrapped up successfully. He also thanked the entire cast and crew for working under tough climatic conditions.
His tweet in this regard was: “It’s a wrap for the schedule in scorching 55 degrees. Thank you Chiyaan. And the whole cast and crew for some exhilarating work!”
Director Gautham Menon is well known for spinning some excellent crime thrillers in his career which include Vettayadu Vilayadu and Kakka Kakka. And, incidentally, Dhruva Natchathiram is also a spy thriller that will have the audiences on the edge of their seats.
Starring Vikram, Aishwarya Rajesh and Ritu Varma in the lead roles, the film also has R. Parthiepan, Simran, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Sathish Krishnan, Dhivyadharshini, Maya Sundarakrishnan, Vamsi Krishna and Munna Simon in pivotal roles.
Produced by Gautham Menon, Venkat Somasundaram, Reshma Ghatala, Senthil Veeraasamy and P. Madan under the banner Ondraga Entertainment and Kondaduvom Entertainment, the film is touted to hit the silver screens during early 2018.
Harris Jayaraj is composing music for this flick with Manoj Paramahamsa, Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran and Jomon T. John cranking the camera and Praveen Anthony roped in for editing. It may be mentioned here that Suriya was the initial choice to play the lead role in this film but he opted out and the offer went to Vikram.
