Chinese smartphone maker Huawei is bringing its latest Nova series to India soon after it is launched in its home market.

Chinese phone makers don’t necessarily launch all their models in India. They follow this policy with some other markets also. Some phones are launched in the US and may not be sold in Europe and vice versa. Huawei also follows this practice, but it is definitely releasing its Nova 3 and Nova 3i smartphones in India, reports indicate.

These phones are being officially launched in China on July 18 and soon after that buyers in India also should be able to lay their hands on these models.

The salient feature on these Nova series phones from Huawei will be that they will sport the GPU Turbo or graphics processing acceleration technology. This has been developed by Huawei and is meant to offer a more immersive experience to the users, particularly while playing games.

There is a focused integration of the hardware and software installed in the device to achieve this display delivery. Within the video game environment, this GPU Turbo technology uses artificial intelligence to offer “4D” quality gaming experience. The company claims that this will boost graphic performance on the phone by around 60% and also reduces the energy consumption by roughly 30%.

Besides AI, there is also the application of virtual reality and augmented reality in the delivering of graphics and the users of the new Nova 3 and Nova 3i smartphones will know the difference once they use them to play games.

Being a game-centred device, Huawei is pre-loading a few popular games on these devices and hope that the gaming enthusiasts will definitely want to have more fun with them.

In terms of specifications, the Nova 3 will run on Kirin 970 processor and will be powered by a 3750MaH battery. The smartphone will come with 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage. These smartphones are rumored to have dual cameras both on the rear and front.

The Huawei Nova 3i, on the other hand, comes with 4GB RAM, 128 GB internal storage. It will run on the Kirin 710processor, powered by a 3340 mAh battery. The front camera comes with a 24-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, while the front camera has a 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel sensors.
