Paytm has been a long-standing partner in bringing technology enabled convenience to the Indian consumer, and we’re proud to take this partnership a step further with our first Uber Gift Card offering in India.” Said Madhu Kannan, Chief Business Officer, India and Emerging Markets, Uber.

Uber Gift Cards are currently available on Paytm and Woohoo and will soon be available on Amazon.  These gift cards can be redeemed in the payments section in the Uber app by adding it as a payment method post which Uber credits will be added to your account.

“Uber is preferred by millions of Indians for their daily commute, and our long-standing partnership has allowed us to enable seamless payments for their commuters. We are excited to launch the Uber Gift Card on Paytm, a unique gifting solution for food and transportation that will allow friends and family to bring joy to their loved ones during the upcoming festive season,” Kiran Vasireddy, COO - Paytm said in a statement.

Every gift card will be valid for a period of 36 months and can be used within India where Uber or Uber Eats is available. Uber Gift Cards can also be redeemed partially, as many times as the user wishes to until its balance is consumed or the Gift Card expires, whichever is earlier.
