‘Baahubali 2’ to be wrapped up by Oct, film set to release in April 2017

According to sources, Rajamouli has reportedly announced a one-month holiday, after which the shoot will be resumed.

Filmmaker SS Rajamouli is keen to release Baahubali 2 on April 14, 2017, and the movie will be wrapped up by October this year.

Rajamouli is busy shooting the second installment, “Baahubali: The Conclusion”. 

The team has been working nonstop for the past few days under the hot sun, with a high octane action sequence between Rebel Star Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, being shot. The production team has installed coolers and air conditioners at the shooting spot.

According to sources, Rajamouli has reportedly announced a one-month holiday, after which the shoot will be resumed.

After the break, a grand war sequence will be canned which will be a major highlight of the film.

The makers Arka Media are planning to sell the rights of the Hindi version of “Baahubali 2” to Yashraj Films. Yashraj Films has offered a whopping price of Rs 150 crores, for its worldwide distribution rights, including rights of the Hindi version along with its satellite rights.

“Baahubali: The Beginning” collected more than Rs 100 crores from its Hindi version and shattered various records.
