An upcoming Telugu film titled 'Affair' has found itself in a dicey situation with the censor board. The film directed by Sri Rajan revolves around a lesbian couple who fall in love.

The movie also has some erotic scenes between the couple, which is presumably what ticked off the censor board.

Quoting a source close to producer Tummalapalli Ramasathyanarayana, gulte reported that if the censor board doesn’t clear it, the makers may release the film on YouTube.

The producer has previously worked with director Ram Gopal Verma on the Ice Cream series.

"I got inspired by bold films which were made with different concepts by Bollywood film makers like Mahesh Bhatt and Ektha Kapoor. ‘Affair’ is being made with that inspiration.” Ramasathyanarayana told apherald.
