Actor Balakrishna to play his father NTR's role in upcoming biopic

The biopic will be made based on the inputs given by his father’s close friends, relatives, and aides.

Veteran actor Balakrishna has made the announcement that he will be playing his dad NT Rama Rao in his upcoming biopic. 

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, was a legend during his time. Apart from immortalising various roles he had played on the silver screen, NTR was the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, three times.

Speaking about the biopic at his native place in Nimmakuru, Balayya was quoted by the Times of India as saying, “I will be playing nannagaru in the upcoming biopic. We are in the process of finalising a director for the film. It will tell his story starting from his life as the son of a farmer in Nimmakuru, his tryst with cinema and how he founded that Telugu Desam Party and became one of the most popular leaders India has produced.”

Balayayya revealed that the biopic will be made based on the inputs given by his father’s close friends, relatives, and aides. The USP of the film will be the inclusion of some unknown facts about the legendary leader.

The star’s Gautamiputra Satakarani, released for Sankranti, has turned out to be a big hit and fans are waiting eagerly for the announcement regarding the biopic. 

Meanwhile, NTR’s widow Lakshmi Parvathy has threatened to file a case if the Andhra Chief Minister and NTR’s son-in-law, Chandrababu Naidu is portrayed in positive light.
