After the massive success of Rajini Murugan earlier this year, Sivakarthikeyan joined with debut director Bhagyaraj Kannan for his upcoming rom-com 'Remo'. On Tuesday, the movie was cleared by the censor board with a "U" certificate.

Touted to be a comedy entertainer, the movie will hit the screens on October 7. The buzz now is that Remo will also be released in Japan on October 9.

The movie will be released in the theater of the New Minato Aeon Mall in Nagoya region and the ticket would cost 2000 yen, thus becoming the first Tamil film to release in this region.

The film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Sathish, K. S. Ravikumar, Yogi Babu and Aadukalam Naren. The music of the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography is handled by PC Sreeram.

This big-budget romantic entertainer is bankrolled by R D Raja under 24AM Studios banner.
