Just hours after it was confirmed that Tamannaah Bhatia will reprise Kangana Ranaut’s role in the Tamil remake of Queen, reports have emerged that Amy Jackson has been roped in to play Lisa Haydon’s part in the film. However, reliable sources didn’t deny the news but at the same time clarified that Amy is yet to be officially signed on.

“Talks have been initiated with Amy, but nothing has been finalized yet. Even though she’s most likely to be signed on, the makers are also looking at a few other heroines as options.”

“In a couple of week’s time, the official announcement can be expected. Amy is also quite excited about the opportunity and if she comes on board, she’d be part of all the southern versions of the film,” a source said.

To be helmed by Revathi, the makers are yet to finalize the leading lady for other languages. Rumours suggest that Amala Paul might be roped in for the Malayalam version and Parul Yadav for the Kannada remake.
