Anupama Parameswaran is riding high on her debut film in Sandalwood turning out to be a hit. Natasaarvabhowma, starring Puneeth Rajkumar in the lead role, has Anupama playing the lead opposite him. The horror thriller hit the marquee recently and has been getting positive reviews. Anupama’s performance as a lawyer in the film is being raved about as well.

The gorgeous actor made her acting debut with the 2015 Malayalam film Premam, which was a smash hit. She was then seen in Telugu and Tamil films as well, making a mark for herself with her performances. With a hit in Kannada, Anupama seems set to rule the roost in the southern film circuit.

Natasaarvabhowma was helmed by Pavan Wadeyar and produced by Rockline Venkatesh under his banner Rockline Productions. Its technical crew include D Imman for music, Tollywood dance master Jani for choreography and Vaidhi as the cameraman. Apart from Anupama, the film has another heroine – Rachita Ram.

The movie became the biggest ever Kannada release by opening with 550+ shows. Though it was released on a weekday, Natasaarvabhowma managed to do well at the box office on Saturday and Sunday. The film amassed a total collection of Rs 7.8 crore on day 1 and Rs 5.1 crore on day 2. Going by the latest figures, the film has collected around Rs 28 crore in Karnataka alone.

It may be noted here that Anupama Parameswaran had a string of failures in the Telugu film industry but ended the dry spell with her last release, Hello Guru Prema Kosame, being declared a hit. Directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, the film was produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. Devi Sri Prasad composed music for this venture with Vijay K Chakravathy cranking the camera. The star cast includes Ram Pothineni and Anupama Parameswaran as the lead pair with Prakash Raj, Pranitha Subhash, Amani, Sithara, Jayaprakash, Posani Krishna Murali, Praveen and Ram Prasad in supporting roles.
