National Award winning actor Appukutty is the latest addition to Ajith’s next film, tentatively titled, “Thala 57”. The actor was also part of Ajith’s earlier films, “Veeram” and “Vedalam”.

Although the title of the film is to be announced, speculation is rife that it might be titled “Dhruvan” or “Pottinnu Vandhutta” or “Poyyum Meyyum”.

However, the film’s makers have called the reports, baseless rumours. The title and first look will be revealed together and is expected to release this Diwali.

Meanwhile, the film is currently being shot in picturesque locales in Europe. The major portion of the film will be shot in Georgia and a few other international locations.

In a recent interview, Ajith confirmed that he is a part of “Thala 57” and his portions will be shot in the US.

The spy thriller is directed by Siruthai Siva and the film is being bankrolled by Satyajothi Films, with music by Anirudh Ravichander.
