SS Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali: The Conclusion has officially made history, as the film has reportedly collected Rs 1,000 crore.

Taran Adarsh, a business analyst had said on Friday that the film raked in Rs 88.65 crore from collections in North America.

The film collected around Rs 805 crore in India, while it collected Rs 200 crore overseas, bringing the total figure to Rs 1,005 crore.
Taking to Facebook, Prabhas, who plays the lead role in the film, said, "To All My Fans, A big hug to each one of you for all the love that you'll have showered on me. I have tried my best to go through a lot of the efforts that you all have put to express your affection for me from different parts of India and even overseas. I am truly overwhelmed with everything. The journey of Baahubali has been a long one but among the few things that I will take away from this, is all of you. Lots of love back to you all."
"A big thank you to Rajamouli sir for believing in me to carry his huge vision to the masses, giving me a once-in-a-lifetime character of Baahubali and making the entire journey so special," he added.
This comes three days after it was announced that the film successfully surpassed Aamir Khan's Dangal at the US box-office.
According to Great India Films, the US distributor of Baahubali 2, the film minted $12.6 million as of Wednesday last week, officially surpassing life-time earnings of $12.3 million of Dangal.
With that, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion also officially become the highest grossing Indian film at the US box-office.
The film was made on a budget of over Rs 250 crore, and grossed Rs 100 crore on the first day of its release.
According to trade analysts, the film’s pre-release business alone amounted to Rs 500 crore.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film is about two warring cousins and their battle for the ownership of an ancient kingdom.
Baahubali 2 has Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tammannah, Ramya Krishnan, and Sathyaraj in the lead roles. The film released on April 28, in Telugu and Tamil.
According to reports, it is the first Indian film to be made and released in the 4K High Definition format.
The epic drama has been penned by KV Vijayendra Prasad, has music by MM Keeravani.
The film was produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner Arka Media Works.
