The theatrical trailer of Ram Charan-starrer Dhruva has clocked over a million views, reportedly making it the fastest trailer to get one million views in such a short span of time.

The trailer has got 1.8 million online views in just 21 hours.

The makers claim that it’s a new industry record and jubilant fans have been trending the hashtag, 'Dhruva Trailer Storm' since Friday night.

Meanwhile, director SS Rajamouli has heaped praises on the trailer. Taking to Twitter, he said, "Quite stylish Quite promising. Well done Surender Reddy and Charan. Contrary to the belief, Remakes are actually tough."

With the film slated for release on December 9, the trailer has set the anticipation levels right and the makers are very confident.

Directed by Surender Reddy, best known for helming "Kick" and "Race Gurram", the project also stars Rakul Preet Singh and Arvind Swami.

Originally seen as the antagonist, Arvind will reprise his own role in Dhruva, and the makers have intentionally not revealed too much of his character in the trailer.
