As the shooting of the Nivin Pauly-Nayanthara starrer Love Action Drama progresses, we hear that actor Durga Krishna too will be part of the film.

Durga, who has earlier appeared in films like Vimaanam and Pretham 2, is reportedly playing a brief cameo role in Love Action Drama. The film will be the first directed by actor Dhyan Sreenivasan, son of veteran actor-writer-director Sreenivasan. Durga is also paired opposite Dhyan in the movie Kutty Mama, directed by VM Vinu, and in which Sreenivasan plays the title role. She also has Sunny Wayne’s Vritham and Anoop Menon’s King Fish coming up.

Love Action Drama is expected to release on September 5 to coincide with the Onam festival.

Touted to be a complete entertainer, the film marks lady superstar Nayanthara’s comeback to Mollywood after years. Reports are that the film is a spin-off of the yesteryear hit movie Vadakkunokkiyanthram, directed by Sreenivasan senior.

According to reports doing rounds, Nivin Pauly and Nayanthara will be playing the roles of Thalathil Dineshan and Sobha respectively, a reprisal of the characters from the original movie. Vadakkunokkiyanthram showed Dineshan as a person with a mental problem, having a complex of being married to a beautiful woman.

Besides directing the film, Dhyan has also penned the script for this film.

The film is bankrolled by Aju Varghese, who is funding this movie jointly with Vishak Subramaniam under the banner of Funtastic Films. Aju is also part of the cast that includes Sreenivasan, Mallika Sukumaran, Bhagat Manuel, Harikrishnan and Deepak Parambol.

Shaan Rahman is the music composer and the lyrics are penned by Dhyan’s brother, actor-singer-director Vineeth Sreenivasan. Sreenivas Reddy is cranking the camera and the editing is done by Vivek Harshan, with the art direction being taken care of by Ajay Mangadu.

Dhyan had made his acting debut with the film Thira, directed by Vineeth.
