First look of Chiranjeevi's 150th film to be released on August 22

After a gap of around nine years, Tollywood’s ‘Megastar’ has come back to the big screen.

Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie, which is the remake of Tamil hit movie ‘Kaththi’, will be produced by Lyca Productions and the actor's son Ram Charan. It will be directed by V V Vinayak.  

The regular shooting of the movie commenced on Thursday in Hyderabad. On the first day of shooting, the director filmed an action sequence with Chiranjeevi.

The director said that the story of the movie deals with issues troubling farmers wherein Chiranjeevi plays the role as a leader who fights for the farmers.

The first schedule of the shooting will take place in locations around Hyderabad till August 12 and the makers are planning to release the first look on August 22nd which marks the birthday of the actor.
