First-look out from GV Prakash Kumar’s next titled 'Bachelor'

The film will be directed by debutant Sathish Selvakumar, a former assistant to director Sasi.

Music director turned actor GV Prakash Kumar’s recent film Sivappu Manjal Pachai is doing well at the theatres. It is an action thriller written and directed by Sasi. Besides GV Prakash, the film also has Siddharth playing the lead role. 

With Sivappu Manjal Pachai gaining good response, the new look poster of GV Prakash’s upcoming film, Bachelor, a romantic drama, was released by Indian cricketer Harbajan Singh. The film will be directed by debutant Sathish Selvakumar, a former assistant to director Sasi. Divya Bharathi will be making her debut as a heroine with this flick.

According to sources, the film is about a gang of Coimbatore guys who end up in Bengaluru. Prakash will apparently play a never-seen-before character in this film. Most of the shoot will happen in Bengaluru, Chennai and Coimbatore.

The film also stars Bagavathi Perumal, as well as Nakkalites YouTube channel-fame Arun and Prasanna. Theni Easwar will handle cinematography while GV Prakash willtake care of its music. Dilli Babu is bankrolling the film under his banner Axess Film Factory.

Sivappu Manjal Pachai had Lijomol Jose and Kashmira Pardeshi as the female leads. The star cast also included Dheepa Ramanujam, Prem Kumar and Yeshwanth in supporting roles. Sivappu Manjal Pachai is produced by Ramesh P Pillai under the banner of Abhishek Films. The technical crew of this film includes Siddhu Kumar for music, Prasanna Kumar for cinematography and San Lokesh for editing.

On the music work front, GV Prakash is composing music for Dhanush-Vetrimaran's Asuran and Suriya's Soorarai Pottru directed by Sudha Kongara based on the life of Captain GR Gopinath – founder of the budget airline Air Deccan, and produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainment.

On the acting front, Prakash has projects such as Adangathey, 4G, Jail, Kaadhalai Thedi Nithya Nandha and Ayngaran, apart from the Tamil remakes of Telugu films 100% Love and Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada.
