The visuals of the first song ‘Maata Vinadhuga’ from Taxiwala are out and are going viral as expected. The film, starring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead, is gearing up for release on November 16 and promos are happening in full swing. From the visuals of the song, it is evident that Vijay Deverakonda plays the role of a Taxiwala and will also be a romantic entertainer.

During its teaser launch, Vijay Deverakonda had said that the film cannot fit into one genre as it has elements of sci-fiction, comedy, and paranormal activities. Earlier, he has been quoted by the Deccan Chronicle as saying, “We are a young team and our boss Allu Aravind gave us total freedom to do things in our own style. It’s a new kind of cinema and I can’t say it’s one genre since it has supernatural elements, science fiction, and comedy too, so I’ll call it a high concept stress buster.”

Taxiwala, written and directed by Rahil Sankrityan, has been produced by Allu Aravind under the banner Geetha Arts. The film has music by Jakes Bejoy. Set for release in November, the film stars Vijay Deverakonda, Priyanka Jawalkar, and Malavika Nair.

With Vijay Deverakonda’s last release NOTA turning out to be a dud at the box office, his fans are waiting eagerly for Taxiwala. Further, his fans want to see him in action in a different avatar and Taxiwala promises it.

The star will be ending the year with the release of Taxiwala and his next release would be in 2019 with Dear Comrade. Besides this film, he also has a Kranthi Madhav directorial lined up.
