In what could be termed as a first-of-its-kind attempt, five directors including Mysskin and Nalan Kumarasamy among others, have been reportedly roped in to pen dialogues for Vijay Sethupathi’s next with National award-winning film Aaranya Kaandam’s director Thiagarajan Kumararaja.

Although the makers haven’t made any official announcement yet, reliable sources have confirmed that Mysskin as well as Nalan have already expressed their consent to be associated with the project.

With the project slated to go on the floors in January next year, audiences are keen to know whether the project will be on the lines of Aaranya Kaandam, or will it be a regular commercial outing aimed to please the masses. The director himself has confirmed that it will be a ‘masala’ film, with moments that will make his work stand out. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Fahadh Faasil have been roped in too, and the latter will be seen as the antagonist.

Ace lensman PC Sreeram has been roped in to crank the camera and if sources are anything to go by, talks have been initiated with a leading composer. The rest of the cast and crew will be finalized over the course of the next few weeks.
