'Humble Politician Nograj' to be released in the US

Considering the huge popularity of its lead star Danish Sait, whose online shows are hugely popular, the filmmakers have decided to release it in the US.

The much-awaited political satire, Humble Politician Nograj hit the silver screens on January 12th and is doing well at the box office. Directed by Saad Khan, the film has been bankrolled by Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah, Hemanth Rao and Rakshit Shetty under the banners Pushkar Films, Lost & Found Films and Paramvah Studios.

With the film getting positive reviews and running to packed houses, it has turned out to be a profitable venture for its makers. And the latest we hear from the team is that Humble Politician Nograj is all set to be released in the United States of America, as Danish has a strong fan base there.

Considering the huge popularity of its lead star Danish Sait, whose online shows are hugely popular, the filmmakers have decided to release it in the US. Sources in the trade say that Humble Politician Nograj will be released in various centers across the US.

While Danish Sait plays the lead role in the film, it also stars Vijay Chendoor, Sumukhi Suresh, Roger Narayan, Sruthi Hariharan and Srinivas Prabhu in important roles. The highlight of the Humble Politician Nograj is that it has the Sandalwood superstar Puneeth Rajkumar appearing in a cameo role.

The film has been written by Danish Sait, Saad Khan and Vamsidhar Bhogaraju and its technical crew also include Sricharan Pakala, Jeet Singh, DJ Jasmeet and Prajwal Pai for music, Kam Chawla for cinematography and Jagadeesh, Ram Sabare and Chandni Asnani for editing.

In an interview to The New Minute earlier, Danish, while speaking about the film had said, “In the film, we are not telling you whom to vote for but we are telling you whom not to vote for.”

On making a sequel to Humble Politician Nograj, he had said that it is too early to talk about it and would move things one at a time.

Meanwhile, Saad, is wrapping up his next film, Love and She, about postpartum depression. It is an intense film and will be releasing in the US during the summer and will be premiered in India later.
