Kajal Agarwal is one of the most established actors in the Tamil and Telugu film industries. In fact, the actor has shared screen space with almost all the leading actors in both Tollywood as well as Kollywood.

Kajal Agarwal’s last release was the Telugu movie MLA aka Manchu Lakshanulla Abbayi, in which she shared the screen space with Kalyan Ram. She is currently busy with the Tamil film Paris Paris which is being directed by Ramesh Aravind. The film is the remake of the hit Bollywood flick Queen, which had Kangna Ranaut playing the lead role. In Paris Paris, Kajal will be reprising the rile done by Kangana.

It may be mentioned here that Kangana went on to the National Award for Best Actor for her role in Queen.

On working in the remake, Kajal told the Times of India in an earlier interview, “I wanted this character in Paris Paris to be mine. I wanted my character to be different from the original Rani that we have all seen. I wanted to keep it as natural and spontaneous as I could, without getting influenced by what we have already seen onscreen. I have tried to keep the character very normal, while keeping in mind the fact that we are in 2018 now.”

There have been also reports doing rounds that Kajal Agarwal has been roped in to play the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor J Jayalalitha in the upcoming NTR biopic. However, it has now been confirmed that the reports are false.

The actor has denied playing the role in the biopic and it is still uncertain what role she is playing.

Kajal Agarwal has acted in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu movies so far in her career and hopes that her entry into the Punjabi industry would be successful like her stint down south.
