Sai Dharam Tej’s upcoming film has been titled Chitralahari. Initial rumours about this interesting title have revealed that the hero will fall in love with two girls – Chitra and Lahari – and the story revolves around them.

Kishore Tirumala will be wielding the megaphone for this romantic film. The shooting of this film began recently and is progressing at a brisk pace.

Chitralahari will have Kalyani Priyadarshini and Nivetha Pethuraj sharing the screen space with Sai Dharam Tej. Though a double heroine subject, both the heroines will be given equal importance in it and will have adequate scope for performance, we hear.

Earlier, there were reports that Ritika Singh of Guru fame will be playing one of the female leads, but later the role went to Nivetha Pethuraj. Nivetha made her debut in Tollywood with Mental Madhilo and is currently busy playing the female lead in Brochevarevura.

Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose the tunes for this flick. Chitralahari will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.

Sai Dharam Tej, who needs a big hit, has undergone a major makeover for this film. He has undergone weight loss and his new look will be the talk of the town, say sources.

Director Kishore Tirumala made his debut with the Tamil film Pillaiyar Theru Kadeisi Veedu and went on to direct the Telugu movie Second Hand. However, he rose to prominence with his second film, Nenu Sailaja which was a big hit.

Released in 2016, the film starred Ram Pothineni and Keerthy Suresh as the lead pair. His last film release was Vunnadi Okate Zindagi, which was out at the theatres last year. This film again had Ram Pothineni in the lead role with Anupama Parameswaran and Lavanya Tripathi as heroines.
