Actress Pragya Jaiswal made a splash with National award-winning Telugu film, Kanche, and her performance in the film didn’t go unnoticed. Having recently bagged a plum role in veteran filmmaker K. Raghavendra Rao’s Om Namo Venkatesaya, co-starring Akkineni Nagarjuna, she has now been roped in to play a glamorous cop in Krishna Vamsi’s Nakshatram.

According to Krishna Vamsi’s Facebook post, Pragya will be paired opposite Sai Dharam Tej in the film. She will also feature in two challenging fight sequences, exclusively designed for her and will apparently lock horns with Sundeep Kishan, who plays the lead. While preparing for her role, Pragya learnt kick-boxing and martial arts.

On bagging the opportunity to work in the project, she said that she finds herself extremely fortunate to have collaborated with the Khadgam filmmaker. Pragya will start shooting in Hyderabad from Thursday.
