To commemorate the first anniversary of S.S Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali (which released on July 10 last year), its Kerala distributor Global United Media has planned to re-release the film next month in Malayalam. While the exact date is not yet locked, a representative from the company has confirmed that the film will released across Kerala next month. The film did really well in Kerala, earning nearly double the investment for the distributor.

Baahubali, which emerged as the country’s biggest blockbuster, raked in over Rs 600 crore at the box-office worldwide. The first part is gearing up for a massive release in about 6500 screens in China on July 22.

Currently busy filming the climax sequence of Baahubali: The Conclusion, which will hit the screens around the same time next year, the makers have already sold the rights of the second part for a phenomenal price in several areas.

The makers have spent a whopping Rs 30 crore on the ongoing climax sequence of Baahubali 2. According to Rana Daggubati, the second part will be even more dramatic and action-oriented than the first.
