Actor Madhavan's picture has gone viral once again. He had posted the ‘look-test’ pics for Maara on Instagram and fans have gone berserk over it.

While the first pic shows him with disheveled hair, curled moustache, and beard, in the second, that is after the transformation, he looks suave. The star had posted on the micro blogging site, “Look test #Maara.. a transformation in 2 hrs ??Thanksss so much @samanthajagan @jammyfernando.”

Maara will be directed by debutant Dhilip whose claim to fame is a short film titled Kalki and it will have Shraddha Srinath playing his lead pair. Interestingly, they had shared the screen space in the hit movie Vikram Vedha.

Ghibran is composing music for Maara, which is touted to be a romantic film. According to sources, the shooting of this film is currently happening in Pondicherry.

Apart from Maara, Maddy has the Telugu movie Savyasachi. Directed by Chando Mondeti, the film has Naga Chaitanya playing the lead role alongside Madhavan. Savyasachi is a super action film that has Nidhi Agarwal and Bhumika Chawla playing the female leads.

Maddy also has a Bollywood flick lined up for release this year in which he will be seen making a cameo appearance. Titled Zero, the film’s main star cast include Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma and Abhay Deol.

The film has a number of stars making guest appearance and they include Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sridevi, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, Alia Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor and Juhi Chawla. Zero is touted to hit the silver screens in December this year. It may be mentioned here that this may be Sri Devi’s last film to release after her sudden death this year.
