Nani and Ritu Varma in director Shiva Nirvana’s next?

The two actors last worked together in the 2015 film ‘Yevade Subramanyam.’

Director Shiva Nirvana is currently busy assembling together the cast and crew for his next film. Actor Nani has already reportedly joined the team and the latest news is that actor Ritu Varma has been signed up to play Nani’s love interest in the film. The last time Nani and Ritu Varma worked together was in Yevade Subramanyam, which released in 2015.

Nani is currently busy with the film titled V, which is being directed by Mohan Krishna Indraganti. Sharing the screen space with Nani in this entertainer is Sudheer Babu with Aditi Rao Hydari, and Nivetha Thomas playing their lead pairs. Amit Trivedi has been roped in to compose music for this venture. The film is bankrolled by ace producer Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Nani’s last release was Gang Leader. The film was produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravishankar, Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers with Vikram K Kumar wielding the megaphone. Anirudh composed music for Gang Leader. The film had Nani with Lakshmi, Saranya Ponvannan, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Shriya Reddy, Praanya P. Rao, Kartikeya Gummakonda, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles. The film was about 5 women seeking help from a crime novelist to avenge the death of their loved ones.

Ritu Varma, meanwhile, is expecting the release of Dhruva Natchathiram, which is scheduled for release soon.  Actor Vikram plays the lead in Dhruva Natchathiram, which also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Ritu Varma, R. Parthiepan, Simran, Suresh Chandra Menon, Raadhika, Vamsi Krishna, Salim Baig, Sathish Krishnan, Munna Simon, Maya S. Krishnan, Dhivyadharshini, Preethi Nedumaran and Shravanthi Sainath. Harris Jayaraj is composing music for this flick with Manoj Paramahamsa wielding the camera and Praveen Antony editing it. Her other Tamil film in the pipeline is Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal, which is  currently in its post-production stages.
