Vijay Sethupathi's Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren has already created quite a stir on social media with the posters and teaser of the film.

Now comes the big announcement that the Arumuga Kumar directorial has gone in for an innovative promo for the film – they have purchased the Ramnad Rhinos team in the upcoming Celebrity Cricket League.

Vijay Sethupathi is the captain of Ramnad Rhinos. In a video, VS says that the audio launch for Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren will happen on January 6 at Bukit Jalil Stadium in Malaysia.

The actor then goes on to say that he will also be playing cricket over there.

“I think it’s for the first time that my film’s audio launch is happening in a foreign country,” VS says, adding that he was happy to be with Malaysian Tamils for the event.

The other cricket teams in the CCL include Chennai Singams (Suriya), Madurai Kaalais (Vishal), Nellai Dragons (Jayam Ravi), Tiruchi Tigers (Sivakarthikeyan) and so on.

Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren also stars Gautham Karthik and Niharika Konidela.

Vijay Sethupathi has made it big in the Tamil film industry after years of struggle. The actor has often spoken about how he used to pretend he was working when he was whiling away time playing cricket in order to give his family the impression that he was really busy.

A versatile actor, he goes by the title ‘Makkal Selvan’ and has managed to notch up several unexpected hits. Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren has all the markings of a thorough entertainer and hopefully, the film will not disappoint VS fans who are waiting eagerly for its release.
