Interestingly, it was revealed a few weeks ago that Sandalwood star Darshan will also be seen in a cameo role in the film. According to reports, he will be appearing as freedom fighter Bhagat Singh and it is a crucial role to the film.

Prajwal Devaraj and Bhavana play the lead pair in Inspector Vikram, which has Ramesh Aravind as the villain. The technical crew of the film comprises Anoop Seelin for music, Naveen Kumar for cinematography, and Sathish and Sreenivas for art direction. Reports say that while Prajwal Devaraj will be seen in the title role of Inspector Vikram, Bhavana will be playing the role of a drug peddler.

While making her debut with Inspector Vikram, Ragini is also eyeing meaty roles. Reports indicate that she has inked a deal to star in a film that will be directed by Raghu Samarth. It will be a heroine-centric film with the actor having no male lead paired up with her. It is a performance-oriented role as well. Titled Vijaya Dasami, the film’s official muhurat happened on October 19, which was Vijaya Dasami day, confirm sources close to the project. The shooting was said to begin on October 21.

Ragini, who is a model and an accomplished dancer, runs her own dance studio. She acted in a short film titled Rishabhapriya that released last year. Talking to Deccan Herald in an interview, she said: “The story revolves around Rishab and Priya. These two characters make their decisions based on their passion but life offers them something else.” On acting with her husband, she had then said, “I would definitely love to act with Prajwal. We have been offered a couple of scripts but nothing was worth taking up.”
