Despite being the son of the superstar and a star in the making himself, Pranav Mohanlal prefers to remain in the backdrop and has always shied away from the media. When asked about this, the youngster is reported to have said that people have nothing to gain from knowing about his personal life.

He was quoted in an interview as saying, “I don’t hate media. It is just that I believe that people have nothing to gain from my personal life.”

However, he went on to reveal a little about his interests and said, “There is nothing much like that, I just want to live. I love to travel, a lot.”

Pranav Mohanlal made his acting debut as a child artiste in Onnaman in 2002 and went on to win the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist for his performance in Punarjani. He has also worked as an assistant director under Jeethu Joseph in the Tamil film Papanasam which had Kamal Haasan and Gauthami playing the lead roles.

Interestingly, Jeethu Joseph will be wielding megaphone for Pranav Mohanlal’s debut film as hero, Aadhi.

The star cast of Aadhi has Siju Wilson and Sharafudheen as well with Anusree, Lena, Siddique, Aditi Ravi, and Nobi. The Aadhi team is currently busy with the shooting and the film is expected to hit the marquee later this year or early next.

The team is yet to decide on the release date, we hear. The technical crew of Aadhi comprises Satheesh Kurup as the cameraman, Anil Johnson as the music director, and Ayoob Khan as the editor. Aadhi is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas.
