Actor Ravi Teja’s new film 'Raja The Great'  teaser was released on Tuesday, on the occasion of Independence Day. The one-minute trailer has already sparked interest amongst fans as Ravi Teja will be playing a blind boxer.

The trailer suggests that it is a commercial action film, a tailor-made genre for Ravi Teja.

The film directed by scriptwriter turned director Anil Ravipudi, stars actors like Prakash Raj and Radhika Sarathkumar, who plays the actor’s mother.

The female lead is Mehreen Pirzada, who made her debut with 'Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gaadha' opposite actor Nani.  However, the female lead does not find space in the trailer which is dominated by the presence of the male lead and the action scenes.

The film is produced by Dil Raju under his home production Sri Venkateswara Creations and the cinematography is by Mohana Krishna.

Anil Ravipudi has delivered two consecutive hits so far, both his debut 'Pataas' and 'Supreme' were hit at the box office. Anil has continued his association with music director Sai Kartheek, who scored music for his earlier two movies.

This film’s success is vital for the actor’s career, as his previous film 'Bengal Tiger' was an average success. The actor saw a series of flops before the success of 'Balupu' in 2013 and is still reeling under the failures. His much-anticipated 'Kick2' released in 2015a sequel to the blockbuster 'Kick' also remained a dud.

Adding to the woes, the actor’s alleged links in the drugs scandal has also dented his image. The actor was probed by the Special Investigation Team in the scandal.

The film’s release is yet to be announced.

Tollywood director’s like Sreenu Vaitla, Harish Shankar, and Gopichand Malineni have appreciated the film’s trailer.
