Remo's Tamil Nadu theatrical rights sold for a whopping price

According to trade sources, Remo has made a pre-release business of around Rs. 32 crore from Tamil Nadu theatrical rights alone.

Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh after their successful outing Rajini Murugan are gearing up for the release of their next Remo, directed by debutant Bagiyaraj Kannan. The film will have oodles of comedy, which is the hero’s forte.

The makers recently announced that the business for the film will commence from August 2, making it the first time in the history of Tamil cinema that a production house is opening trading on a film by announcing a date.

According to trade sources, Remo has made a pre-release business of around Rs. 32 crore from Tamil Nadu theatrical rights alone. The film is confirmed for release on October 7, 2016 worldwide.

Sivakarthikeyan has put enormous effort to make his next "Remo" sustain his image of being a Box office star. With music composed by Anirudh, a special promo video for the third track in the film, known as Sirikkadhey was out on Thursday featuring Sivakarthikeyan, Keerthy Suresh , Anirudh and a few extras.
