The shooting of Virata Parvam: 1992 is currently on at Parkal, Warangal where portions involving Sai Pallavi are being shot. Recently, a small clip from the sets of this film made it online unofficially garnering the attention of the film buffs in a big way. The clipping shows Sai Pallavi seated in what appears to be a rural bus stop waiting for a bus.

According to reports, Virata Parvam: 1992 will be a romance film, but will also have a lot of action and politics included making the narration interesting. The film has Rana Daggubati playing a cop while Sai Pallavi will be seen as a Naxalite in love with the cop. The film is directed by Venu Udugula of Naadi Needi Oke Kadha fame. Tabu, Priyamani, Eswari Rao and Zareena Wahab have been roped in to play the supporting roles in it.

Nandita Das is all set for a comeback into the Telugu film industry with this film. The actor was last seen in Kamli, which was released in 2006. Since then, she had stayed away from Tollywood but Venu Udugula has impressed her with a role in the upcoming film Virata Parvam 1992

Virata Parvam is bankrolled by Rana’s father Suresh Babu Daggubati in association with Sudhakar Cherukuri. Suresh Bobbili has been roped in to compose music for this flick. The official launch of Virata Parvam happened a few months ago with the veteran actor Venkatesh sounding the clapboard and the Addanki MLA Gottipati Ravi switching on the camera. More updates on Virata Parvam are expected to be out soon.

Besides getting to play a meaty role in Virata Parvam, Sai Pallavi also has the Shekar Kammula directorial in which she is paired with Naga Chaitanya. It may be noted that Shekar Kammula had introduced Sai Pallavi to the Telugu audiences with the smash hit film Fidaa and has once again decided to have her on board his film. Sources in the know say that Shekar Kammula is planning to release the film later this year or early next year.
