Having successfully wrapped up the first schedule of filming across Europe, the makers of Ajith-starrer “Thala 57” are currently on a break in Chennai. The next schedule is expected to start in a couple of weeks and the team is contemplating heading to the US or the UK.

According to a reliable source, director Siruthai Siva has already finalised a few locations both in the US and the UK. After taking into consideration various factors, makers are expected to take a call on the destinations soon.

Meanwhile, there is also speculation that the next schedule will be filmed in Chennai while the cast and crew will fly abroad for the subsequent schedule.

The film will see Ajith as an Interpol agent, whose investigation into a murder case in Tamil Nadu takes him to different parts of the world including Europe.

The yet-to-be-titled thriller also stars Akshara Haasan and Kajal Aggarwal, and is directed by Siruthai Siva, who has delivered two super hits “Veeram” and “Vedalam” with Ajith.

The film features music by composer Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography by Vetri and Anthony L Ruben’s editing. Being bankrolled by the prestigious Sathya Jyothi Movies banner, the makers are planning to complete the project in three months and if everything goes as planned, the film will hit the screens early next year.
