Sivakarthikeyan’s next film, Remo, which is being made on a lavish budget, is inching closer to completion. The much anticipated film features the Rajini Murugan actor in dual avatars including one in drag.

The first look of Remo was originally planned to be launched on June 9. However, when producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu recently hinted that he plans to unveil the audio of Rajinikanth-starrer Kabali on the same day, the makers of Remo had no option but to back out.

Interestingly, it was Sivakarthikeyan who decided to postpone the first look launch of his film, simply because he’s a die-hard Rajinikanth fan and he himself is eagerly looking forward to the event. Following his request, the makers of Remo have pushed the first look launch of their film to June 23.

Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan is said to be working really hard to play the role of a nurse to the tee. He’s also expected to be dubbing in a lady’s voice for the role for the first time in his career. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh.
