Third schedule of Sudeep’s ‘Kotigobba 3’ wrapped up

Directed by debutant Shiva Karthik, the film has Madonna Sebastian playing the lead opposite Sudeep.

The shooting schedules of the Sudeep starrer Kotigobba 3 have been getting pushed due to the star’s acting commitments in other film industries. This also raised speculations on the film’s release date. Finally, a few days ago, it was announced that the film will hit the marquee on November 1 to coincide with the Kannada Rajyotasava Day. Now we hear that the third schedule of the film was wrapped up recently.

While Sudeep himself has penned Kotigobba 3, it is being directed by debutant Shiva Karthik. Arjun Janya is composing music for this venture while Shekar Chandru is handling the camera. Madonna Sebastian will be playing the female lead in this flick, with Bollywood actor Aftab Shivdasani in an important role.

Besides Kotigobba 3, the versatile actor will be seen in the Telugu flick Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy in which he plays a pivotal role and sharing screen space with megastar Chiranjeevi and Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan.

Sudeep’s Bollywood film in the pipeline, Dabangg 3, is also progressing right now. The film is produced by Arbaaz Khan and directed by actor – choreographer – director Prabhu Deva. Reports say that Sudeep will be seen in a negative role. Sudeep is not a new face for Bollywood audiences as his films such as Rann, Rakta Charitra 1 and Rakta Charitra 2 were hits at the box office. Further, the dubbed version of films like Baahubali and Eega made him a well-known artiste in the Hindi film industry.

The star also a significant role in the Malayalam movie Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film has Mohanlal playing the title role. Made on a budget of Rs 100 crore, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham is produced jointly by Antony Perumbavoor, Santhosh T Kuruvilla and CJ Roy under their respective banners – Aashirvad Cinemas, Confident Group and Moonshot Entertainment.
