It’s the season of horror-comedies in Kollywood and it looks like Trisha is on a signing spree. After starring in horror flicks Aranmanai 2 and upcoming Telugu-Tamil bilingual Nayaki, Trisha has recently signed another horror flick that’s going to be entirely shot abroad.

If industry sources are to be believed, she might also star in another horror film which will be the remake of Telugu hit, Geethanjali, and it’s all set to go on the floors later this year.

Geethanjali, originally starred Anjali in dual roles, and was one of the biggest low-budget hits of 2014 in Tollywood. When the film’s remake rights were acquired, it was going to be remade with Anjali in the titular role.

However, producer Kathiresan who bought the Tamil remake rights has had a change of heart and reportedly has approached Trisha with the lead role. It has to be seen whether Trisha, who has three horror flicks in her kitty, will sign one more project.

The makers plan to commence shooting from the end of this year.
