Popular Kollywood actor Vijay Sethupathi has joined Shahid Kapoor in the upcoming thriller drama series directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the filmmaker duo confirmed on Sunday. Earlier in the day, Shahid on social media hinted that he is set to collaborate with Vijay Sethupathi, who is well-known for his performance in Tamil films such as Vikram Vedha, Super Deluxe and Master.

Raashi Khanna, who has worked with the National Award-winning actor in Sangathamizhan and the upcoming Tughlaq Darbar, welcomed Vijay Sethupathi to the set. "Collaborating with my favourite human/actor for the third time, this time in Hindi! Welcome to our set @VijaySethuOffl sir," she tweeted with a selfie of herself with actor Vijay Sethupathi.
Billed as a quirky drama thriller, the show has been created and written by Raj and DK, best known for The Family Man, also an Amazon series. It is co-written by Sita R Menon, Suman Kumar and Hussain Dalal. The confirmation from the directors comes after reports that Vijay Sethupathi is set to star in the upcoming show.
Vijay Sethupathi has a slew of releases in his kitty. He will be seen alongside Nithya Menen in 19(1)(A), which marks his second Malayalam movie. He is making his Bollywood debut with Mumbaikar, which is the remake of Tamil movie Maanagaram. Earlier, a poster from the movie went viral on social media. He will be sharing the screen with Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni in Vignesh Shivan directorial Kaathu Vaakula Ren
