Actor, producer and director Dhanush who is currently promoting his upcoming film VIP 2, walked out of a TV9 interview recently.
Dhanush was on the channel recently when the anchor asked him about the Suchi Leaks controversy.
In March, a series of tweets were sent out from the Twitter handle of singer and RJ Suchitra.
These include nude photos and videos allegedly of celebrities from the film industry and accusations about the "casting couch" culture in Kollywood. Dhanush was one of the targets, and although the actor maintained silence over the issue, his sister put up an impassioned Facebook post which said that the family was emotionally affected by what had happened.
In the interview, the anchor asks him about the mental agony that he experienced at the time. "Who said I went through mental agony?" the actor shoots back. The anchor then asks Dhanush about the photos, videos and allegations. She further says that there are rumours about his "family life" being at stake.
An angry Dhanush then gets up, saying, "This is a very stupid interview," and walks out after removing the mic.
