The trailer of the much awaited Luca released on Monday and it promises some nail-biting moments. The Tovino Thomas - Ahaana Krishna starrer was revealed to be an investigative thriller mixed with some amounts of romance. The nearly two minute long trailer introduces Tovino as Luca, an artist and Ahaana as Niharika. The clip features several cute, romantic moments between the lead pair along with mystery and suspense inducing scenes towards the end.

The artistic vibe, including the colour palette and costumes of the leads add a uniqueness to each scene. While Tovino looks dashing as the bearded, aviators sporting scrap artist, Ahaana Krishna too has some fun costumes, including the traditional Christian Chatta and Mundu, she is seen wearing in one of the scenes.

Directed by Arun Bose, Luca will be his debut film which he has penned along with Mridul George. The crew of the film includes  Sooraj S Kurup who is the music director, , Nimish Ravi - cinematographer and Nikhil Venu as the editor. The film is jointly produced by Linto Thomas and Prince Hussain under the banner Stories and Thoughts Productions.

The film’s supporting cast too gets a fair share of screen time in the 2 minute trailer. This includes Vineetha Koshy, Thalaivasal Vijay, Jaffer Idukki, Neena Kurup, Chembil Ashokan, Pauly Valsan and Devi Ajith among others.

Ahaana Krishna, who made her acting debut in Rajeev Ravi’s Njan Steve Lopez, was after that seen playing Nivin Pauly’s sister in Njandukalude Naattil Oru Idavela. It’s after a gap that she would be appearing in Luca.

Tovino Thomas's last release was Uyare, which hit the marquee last month. The film turned out to be a big hit both commercially as well as critically. Uyare, directed by debutant Manu Ashokan, saw Parvathy play an acid attack survivor and Tovino played a supporting character in the film.
