Won’t rest until sequels to AO and Pudhupettai are made, says Selvaraghavan

Maverick filmmaker Selvaraghavan’s Nenjam Marapathillai is all set for a release this month. The director is excited over this film making it to the silver screens and his fans are eager to know about his next.

While fans want to know about his next, the director’s announcement that he will surely make sequels to Aayirathil Oruvan and Pudhupettai has come in as a surprise. The two remain critically acclaimed films in his career.

When a fan wanted to know what happened to Cholan in AO, the director replied that he would surely make a sequel to it. He had posted: “I’m only 42 years old. Won’t rest till I make a.o 2..and pudhupettai 2.”

AO had Karthi, Parthiban, Reema Sen and Andrea in the lead roles, in Pudhupettai it was Selva’s brother and National Award winning actor Dhanush. Selva’s words make it clear how much these two films mean to him.
