2 more arrested in Kollam temple fire case

The crime branch investigating team has recorded two more arrests in the Kollam temple fire case.

Two workers, Tulasi and Ashokan, were taken into custody from Kollam by the crime branch investigating team. They were arrested in connection with the fireworks tragedy at Puttigal Devi temple at Paravur in Kollam on 10th April.

Meanwhile, according to reports, the seven committee members who are currently in the custody of the crime branch will be taken to the temple site on Saturday as per the instructions of the court.

The accused have also been asked to be presented at the Paravur first class magistrate court.

Puttingal Dewasom President Jayalal, Secretary J Krishnankutty Pillai, committee member Surendranathan Pillai, Somasundaram Pillai, Murukesh, Prasad and Raveendran Pillai are the seven committee members who have been remanded in custody.
