Kerala BJP Chief Kummanam Rajashekharan has urged a probe to enquire about Congress MLA V T Balram’s comment on T P Chandrasekharan’s murder.

V T Balram had, yesterday, criticized his own party for compromising on the investigation into the conspiracy behind T P Chandrasekharan’s murder.

In his Facebook post, V T Balram had criticized the sudden crack down by the CPI (M) government and the authenticity of the Solar Commission report, based on which the cabinet had decided to file cases against Congress leaders.

Balram had called it CPI (M)'s gift to Congress for compromising on the investigation into the murder of rebel CPI (M) leader TP Chandrasekharan.

Kummanam Rajashekaran has now come out urging a probe if investigation on the murder case has been sabotaged or not. He also added that the BJP will write a letter to the DGP and the Chief Secretary demanding the same.

He told the media, “The revelations made by V T Balram are serious allegations. He should make himself available for questioning at his own will if he values ethical politics.”

He also added that, “A case must be filed against him if he doesn’t appear for questioning at his will. If a deal was struck between UDF and CPI (M) for compromising on T P Chandrasekhar’s murder investigation, it has to be brought out.”

Kummanam also took a jibe at BJP’s opposition parties in Kerala.

“There need not be two different political fronts in Kerala to challenge BJP. It is convenient for UDF and LDF parties to merge and become one single front against BJP.

He also raised concerns over politicians especially A K Antony remaining silent on the issue.

"I think A K Antony is silent on the issue because his son is proved to have links with the solar case. Congress should have a convincing answer to the conspiracy behind the T P Chandrasekhar’s murder,” Kummanam said.
