Malayalam actor Rekha Mohan was found dead inside her apartment in Thrissur on Saturday.

After being unable to get in touch with Rekha for the last two days, her husband, who works in Dubai, contacted the police in Thrissur. When police entered the apartment, which was reportedly locked from the inside, they found Rekha’s body.

Rekha was known for her performances in films like “Udyanapalakan”, “Yathramozhi” and “Ne Varuvolam”. She also had a popular small-screen appearance  in the serial “Mayamma”.  

She was found dead in the Shobha City Apartment in Thrissur. Her body was shifted to Thrissur Medical college where the post-mortem will be conducted, police said.
