Watch video: Temple priest clings to pole as elephant goes on the rampage

A Youtube video of an elephant with a temple priest on top, going on the rampage in Kozhikode district of Kerala, is garnering attention with more than 5000 views so far.

In the incident, which occurred at Puthiyapalam junction, the tusker can be seen attacking and battering a vehicle against the wall of the Juma Masjid, with a temple priest precariously perched on top.

The priest seated on the elephant can be seen jumping off later and hanging on to a pole for dear life before escaping as the elephant turns its direction and scurries away.
