Twenty one Keralites are missing and more names are getting added to the list everyday. Though state and central authorities are breaking their heads trying to find where these young people have disappeared to and whether they have joined the Islamic State, the average Malayali is having a lot of fun with the 'ISIS problem'.

Social media pages are inundated with the Malayali pun on ISIS. International Chalu Union and Troll Malayalam, two popular Facebook pages have been churning out memes, dime a dozen.

Will the Malayali who is adept at splitting organisations and creating factions, split the Islamic State? Who needs war on terror when you have a Malayali on board?

The rocket launcher can also be double up as the 'puttu' maker. That's a Malayali's breakfast dish.

War or not, nothing can stop a Malayali from celebrating Onam and creating a flower pattern or 'Pookalam'.

The 21 people who went missing include four women. That's of course resulted in many memes asking if the Malayali ISIS woman will be allowed to watch soap operas at 7 pm.

And the love for Sachin Tendulkar. The Malayali militant will listen to his handler, but will not hesitate to slap him if he utters a word against the master blaster.

Where the Malayali goes, corruption accompanies. Here is someone reading a news item that a Malayali siphoned crores kept aside for procuring bombs.
