If a report that appeared on The Mirror, a publication from the United Kingdom, is to be believed, Malaysia Airlines might soon be renamed to save the company's image. The news comes after two huge disasters the airline had to face in the past six months. 

The first flight- MH 370 disappeared mysteriously in March, the second flight MH 17 was shot down by a missile while the airliner was passing through Ukraine earlier this month. 

Many hold that though both these tragedies might have nothing to do with Malaysia Airlines, the passengers may stop using the flight dreading the risk involved. 

But in an interview with The Telegraph, the company’s commercial director Hugh Dunleavy said that the company would eventually 'emerge stronger' from the crisis it is facing. Dunleavy also said that among the many options that are being considered right now are renaming and re-branding. He also mentioned that individual airlines could not decide on which are the volatile regions that should be avoided to fly over.

He said this in relation to the MH 17 tragedy, as the flight path was approved by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the Ukrainian authorities and the European airspace service provider Eurocontrol.
