The Malayali harvest festival of Onam just went by on Wednesday, and social media has been filled with mouthwatering photos of sadhya (a traditional 9-course feast eaten on a plantain leaf). And while people in and outside Kerala added to these photos, there was a surprising addition – the Hulk himself!

Yes, you read that right. Marvel India shared on its social media handles a photo of Hulk, with neriya mundu draped over his shoulder, sitting ready to gorge on delicious looking sadhya set on a banan leaf. The caption read, “Hulk Mode: On”.

The special Onam wish made fans very happy, and many commented their thanks to Marvel for wishing them for Onam. On Twitter, fans made their own renditions of Onam wishes with Marvel characters dressed up in traditional Indian attire.

One person even dressed up DC’s Superman in a mundu, took a picture, and replied to Marvel’s Hulk’s Onam wishes on Twitter.

Marvel recently wrapped up its Avengers series with Avengers: Endgame that saw largely positive reviews and reactions from fans. The Studio has announced several new upcoming projects as well, including Black Panther 2, Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings that will be released in the next 2-3 years.
