A dance school in Philadelphia celebrated Valentine’s Day this year in an extremely fun way - they asked parents to participate in their children's dance classes.   

The Philadelphia Dance Center asked mothers to join their kids' hip hop classes on February 13 and 15. The fathers were however invited to join their children in ballet class on February 14, Valentine’s Day.

When the school uploaded the videos of the sessions on their social media pages, little did they expect them to go viral.

"Saying thank you doesn't seem to cover how we feel. We are so overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from around the world. Thank you to our dance dads and moms - the role you played in class yesterday pales in comparison to the support you provide your children day in and day out," the dance center later wrote in a post on their FB page.

"Thank you for the messages, posts, comments and shares. We can't believe you love this video as much as we do. Thank you for recognizing the beauty, love, and joy that dance can bring into the world. It just proves that art, love and family are the international language," the post stated.
