AR Rahman's superhit song Humma Humma from the 1995 Mani Ratnam film Bombay is a classic in the truest sense of the word.
Needless to say, anyone wanting to recreate the number through any form, be it song or dance, is in for a challenge.
The last time it was attempted was in Shaad Ali’s Ok Jaanu and fans were anything but impressed.
Now comes a sitar cover of the song by Aditya Subarno released recently on his YouTube page, SitarSnub.
And does he manage to recreate the magic of ARR?
Watch on:
Among the sitarist's other covers include Ed Sheeran's recent hit Shape of You, Closer by Chainsmokers and the theme song of Sherlock.
