Chennai cop and BJP worker booked after video of road rage assault

Chennai police have booked three persons after videos of a man being beaten up, allegedly by a police officer and a BJP worker, at a traffic intersection in Chennai.

Three people, including an Armed Reserve (AR) police constable officer and a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker, have been booked after videos of them chasing and assaulting a man at the Foreshore Estate traffic intersection in Chennai, on Friday, May 3, appeared on social media. The incident occurred at around 1pm in public view and in the presence of officers of the traffic enforcement wing.
