Chennai's Chembarambakkam to face 7-hour power cut

Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has announced power cuts in some parts of Chembarmbakkam in Chennai on November 19, Monday. The power will be shut down from 9 am to 4 pm to carry out some maintenance work. However, the work is expected to be completed before 4 pm, and the power supply will be restored immediately, said TANGEDCO. 

Here is the list of areas in Chembarambakkam that will experience power cut on Monday:

  • Entire Nazarathpet area

  • Meppur

  • Varatharajapuram

  • Bangalore Truck road

  • Part of Chembarambakkam

  • Part of Thirrumazhisai

  • Part of Malayambakkam  

  • Agaramel
